Its the dawn of time. The world still young, and monkeys are running around doing monkey things. They scream at each other over their territory’s but to no avail. They hide from the more dangerous predators like lions.

2. The inciting incident

A black obelisk appears before the monkeys, they freak out litteraly. Running around and screaming. They begin to get closer to it, till they finaly touch it. Something begins to change in their minds. Cognative thought begins.
A monkey picks up a bone and inspects it, before he realizes he can use it to smash stuff.

3. Act 1 turning point

The monkeys pick up bones. They arm themselves for war. They go back up to the mountains to the rival monkey group. They are here to fight. As normal they begin to scream but they do not retreat, The boned monkeys begin to advance before the king of the rivals charge at them. The bones begin to beat and kill him.

4. Mid point

The humans find the black obelsk intentonaly burried on the moon. They dig it up and just like the monkeys they touch it. It has  a weird aura about it.

5. Act 2 turning point

On the mission to jupiter the H.A.L. computer informs the crew of a error with the satellite. The crew go outside and remove the satellite components to inspect them. While inspecting them they find out that it is in complete working order. This is odd because the H.A.L. Computer never makes mistakes. It has a track record of 100% accuracy. The crew have a conversation about H.A.L. and turning it off this is their plan. One of the crew members returns outside the space ship to replace the radar but the H.A.L. computer launches him off to space killing him.

6.  Climax

The surviving crew member must disable the computer. H.A.L. Trys to stop him “I can’t alow you to do that dave.” Eventualy he ends the computers life.

7. Resolution

After a third black obelisk Apears Dave exits the space ship in a pod to investigate. He is transported through a wormhole in space and time and appears in a room. He sees himself at all different ages and eventually another obelisk appears in the room, He touches it and evolves beond the need for a body, he becomes a starchild. A fetus floating in space.

As a young child JB (jack black) lived in a very Christian family, they oppressed his creativity and rock. After writing an amazing rock ballad about killing a dragon and sex he is spanked and grounded.

2. The inciting incident

Praying to his “DEO” poster as if it was his god it suddenly comes to life and tells him he must travel to Hollywood and form the world’s most awesome bad. This inspires JB to takes his father’s money and start his journey. When he arrives in Hollywood it is about 10 years later. And off he goes to start the world’s most awesome band.

3. Act 1 turning point

JB meets Kyle Gass busking on the street. JB is struck by his amazing guitar skills. Kyle Gass is quite rude to him. Later that night JB is sleeping in a park and is beaten by a load of freaks in masks and jump suites. Kyle pretends he scared them off and uses this to his advantage. He tells JB that he is a rich guitarist and that he is working on an album. JB wants in so he begins learning from KG and doing chores for him to get into “the Kyle Gass project”

4. Mid point

JB finds out that KG isn’t really a famous musician when he hears an answering machine message from KG’s mum telling him that she won’t give him any more money. JB gets very angry and starting insulting him till KG gives JB a new guitar. This then causes them to become friends again. They form the band name Tenacious D from the birth marks on their arses.

5. Act 2 turning point

After discovering all the greatest bands use the same guitar pick, they search for it at the guitar store. The shop assistant played by Ben Stiller tells them that it is the pick of destiny and it’s made from Satan’s tooth. They find out that it is located in the Rock and roll museum – thus starts their journey to get the pick

6. Climax – act 3 turning point

After getting the pick of destiny from the rock and roll museum Tenacious D make their way back to the talent show. Just as they enter they fight over the pick and break it. Throwing the broken bits away they go to play the concert anyway. But as they leave a man picks up the bits and then turns into Satan. Tenacious D must have a rock off with Satan. At the end of their rock of he shoots lightning at them and JB blocks it with his guitar. This cuts of the demons horn, sending him back to hell.

7. Resolution

JB and KG sitting in the kitchen of their apartment, smoking from a bong made out of Satan’s horn and playing guitar.

This is an entertaining game i found when a friend anounced to me, “I just lost the game!”.
In my confusion, obviously i questioned, “What?”

HAVE FUN!

Frank Miller’s “The Spirit”, was visually stunning, however, it was quite mundane. Character development was almost nill and the plot very predictable. Very basic thematic Elements also let down the movie. Gabriel Macht (THE SPIRIT) was clearly over-acting, and his voice did not sound natural. The Pace of the movie was even, it was not fast nor slow, the reduced my attention. His character THE SPIRIT was a brilliant piece of animation. The Blood red tie around his neck and the bleach white soles of his shoes stood out of the filmed scene clearly displaying the imagery of the writers.
